چکیده
The experiment was conducted at the research plot of Department Agricultural Entomology Central Research Farm, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj during Rabi season 2021-22. treatments Selected for this were evaluated against Pod borer, Helicoverpa armigera i.e., Neem oil 2% @ 2ml/lit, Spinosad 45% SC 0.2ml/lit, NSKE 5% 5ml/lit, Bacillus thuringiensis 4% WSP ml/lit, NSKE+HaNPV+Bt 1ml/lit, Emamectin Benzoate SG Beauveria bassiana 2ml/lit Untreated control in RBD with three replications. Results revealed that among different benzoate (10.57%) found to be most effective treatment reduction H. followed by (15.21%), (9.03%), 1.5% (13.98%), (16.41%), (12.00%) (17.32%) least pest. Among all treatments, cost-benefit ratio has been analyzed, which highest (1:4.25) marketable yield (19.20 q/ha) (1:3.43 16.40 q/ha), (1:3.00 14. 60 1. 5 % (1:2.80 13.25 5%(1:2.69 12.45 (1:2.55 11.80 lowest (1:2.48 11.20 have recorded.

Role of nitrogen content of pea (Pisum sativum L.) on pea aphid (Acyrthosiphon pisum Harris) establishment
The leaf nitrogen content is generally accepted as an indicator of food quality and as a factor affecting host selection by phytophagous insects. The alate pea aphids (Acyrthosiphon pisum Harris, Aphididae) were given a choice among non-nodulated pea plants (Pisum sativum L.) supplied with one of four nitrate-N levels (0, 3, 15 and 30 mM). When whole plants were exposed to aphids for 7 days, th...
متن کاملIdentification of Cytokinins of Root Nodules of the Garden Pea, Pisum sativum L.
Five cytokinin activities which induced soybean callus proliferation were detected in ethanol extracts of root nodules of the garden pea (Pisum sativum L., cv. Little Marvel). The most active factors among them were identified as zeatin and its riboside on the basis of their mobility on thin layer chromatography in three solvent systems. Smaller activities of zeatin ribotide, isopentenyladenine...
متن کاملPea (Pisum sativum L.) Growth Mutants
This review is devoted to the Pisum sativum L. growth mutants. These mutants are presented by several groups of plants. The first group is characterized by short internodes (dwarf mutants le, na, lk, la, lh, ls) or by elongated internodes (slender mutant sln). The stem growth of mutants of both types (dwarf and slender) is controlled by hormones (GA and IAA) in the stem or in seeds. Mutants cha...
متن کاملEfficacy of Some Synthetic and Biopesticides Against Pod Borer, Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) in Chickpea
Efficacy of some synthetic and biopesticides against pod borer, Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) damage in chickpea was studied at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Ishurdi, Pabna, Bangladesh during rabi cropping season of 2004-05. Synthetic and biopesticides reduced pod borer damage significantly. Significantly lowest pod damage was observed in cypermethrin (5.75%) and HNPV (5.86%) spra...
متن کاملDry Matter Partitioning in Garden Pea (Pisum sativum L.) As Influenced by Different Light Levels
Low light responses of eight garden pea genotypes were investigated in the present experiment in terms of dry matter accumulation and partitioning in the plant. The light treatments consisted of (i) 100% photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) measured in the open field and (ii) 25%, (iii) 50%, (iv) 75% reduction of natural PAR obtained by using mosquito nets of variable color and mesh number...
